1. Drink Water Before Every Meal or Snack.
Drink a glass of water first thing in the morning before breakfast and before every meal or snack. In addition to providing your body with enough water, it will help you feel fuller before your meal and eat less.
2. Drink Water When You Think You Are Hungry.
Thirst and hunger send similar signals to your brain. Drink water when you think you are hungry, because often you are actually not hungry but thirsty.

3. Prepare Enough Water in Advance.
If you know you are not drinking enough, prepare enough water in advance (for example, two 1 l bottles) so you can track your progress during the day.
4. Add Flavor to Your Water.
If plain water doesn’t taste good to you, prepare some water with lemon, orange, apricot, cinnamon (or any other flavor you like) in advance. Keep a jar always ready to drink.
5. Drink Water While Taking a Break.
Drink a glass of water every time you take a break from work or get up from your desk. Or vice versa: drinking water makes a great excuse to have a break in the first place!
6. Going Somewhere? Pack a Water Bottle!
Always bring a bottle of water with you, no matter where you go. Just the fact of carrying it will remind you to drink water, and you might drink at least to empty it a bit to carry less weight.
7. Drink Water After Exercise.
Drink water right after your exercise routine to rehydrate. If it’s difficult to gulp water, you can have a low-sugar energy drink with minerals. If you don’t like energy drinks, try natural coconut water, which is rich in magnesium.
